Der Studiengang Jazz der MUK Wien, eine der international führenden Jazzausbildungsstätten, präsentiert sich zum Semesterausklang an fünf Tagen mit einer opulenten Werkschau im Porgy & Bess: Im Rahmen des MUK.jazz.festivals präsentieren sich die aktuellen Absolvent*innen in öffentlichen Bachelor- und Masterkonzerten. Dabei zeigen sie in hochkarätigen Bands ihr persönliches musikalisches Profil und treten an, die Bühne zu erobern. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der letzte Tag des Festivals, an dem das MUK.jazzorchestra unter der Leitung vom international renommierten Komponist & Bigband-Leiter Jakob Helling, der diesjährigen Artist in Residence des Studiengangs, das erarbeitete Programm zum Besten gibt.
